period one; reflection regarding "yellow boat...
on a 20 x 16 canvas i painted a silhouette of a woman on a dark background. i utilized acrylic for the background and spray paint for the figure. theres a big contrast between the ground and the figure.
in the painting i set the figure in the middle of the frame and didnt utilize the “rule of thirds”. the shape of the figure is one big blob with no definite form.
